You have to Change your focus- Ask what is in it for them, Not what is in it for me? You will start to think more like the employers who are gonna hire you.

Sell Results, not Skills- Employers want to know that you will make a profit for them, you are a profit making professional rather than just an employee.

Start Talking Money- You are gonna make them money and you are gonna save them money.

Add Achievements to Resume- You are a problem-solver not just an employee.

Ass in the media, Titties in the Media, It seems like everywhere you go, Sex is definitely selling something. Come on, Morally we are lost and women are the ones to pay the price. Women are selling out on their selves in the name of wealth, money and fame. You have the likes of  Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Lil Kim, Madonna, Britney Spears and the list just goes on, Sexifying their image with the intent of selling records.  Celebs on covers all baring their goodies with the intention of selling magazines, like how many celebs have been in Playboy? This Peta campaign where i guess "I'd Rather go naked than wear Fur" Campaign, One cannot deny the objective but why do women once again have to be strutting their stuff.

What is this teaching our young girls about their bodies? No wonder you have so many teenage pregnancy out there. No wonder you have men regarding and treating women as sex objects. No wonder women think of themselves merely as sex objects and emulating what they see in the media. When Halle Berry won the oscar, making her the first African-American female to win the Best Actress, alot of persons were happy for the historical achievement, I myself was happy for that but digging deeper and watching the film one sees Halle berry on all four practically naked in the film and it was even greatly criticized as being degrading and asked if that was the reason behind her winning the Oscar?

The amount of naked pictures and sex tapes that has begun to circulate on the media has become the norm. The amount of persons getting popular not for their talent and education but more for their bedroom skills. Kim Kardashian and Paris Hilton seem to enjoy their fame that their sex tape has given them, making themselves sex objects in the media. What is this telling young girls exactly? Why are these persons even newsworthy? What have they done apart from demeaning themselves and women in general?

Its sad but then gain this world makes no sense, logically those that have made significant contributions are the ones that should be recognized for their work. Sexy and being a sex object are the two things. Being sexy means smart, attractive, ambitious and morally driven. Women need to realize that men are only looking at these type of women for one thing and not for a life-long partner.

Jay-Z bigger than Hip-hop

Jay-z has really done more than what was expected. We have seen alot of hip hop artist throughout the years, when I first saw Jay-z it was in that song with Foxy Brown I think, I knew I liked that song. He was around before that time, but that is when I first took notice. The song was fresh and I think the song was called "Sunshine", I kept it on replay. After that he just constantly came with hits, I did not like his image though I was thinking back then if only a girl could come along and he would mature as a person. I was thinking this way mainly because he is such a huge influence on the youth in America and abroad.

Today we see a huge contrast to the person that was back then boasting to be a big pimp, we  see a guy singing about New York, accompanying his wife to the Oscar and the other many award ceremonies. I must say it must have influenced the way that the young men influenced by hip hop view women and marriage. This is a guy that is in his late thirties and has not manage to procreate, he is teaching his fans to be responsible.

I have to say that I love his new album, it is much different than the music that I knew him for but let me say that I am glad the way that he has grown. Did I see it coming? No Did Anyone see it? No well at least I don't think so, but that is what makes life so good, not knowing brings pleasant surprises. Go jay-z continue to do you...

Looking for Love

We continue to search for love Hoping and Waiting and back to where we started alone and confused. It like a broken record watching as it plays over and over again. What it is are we just doomed to be alone forever.My love you promised me that we would be together forever yet as soon as you see the pretty brown thing passing with the long hair you just trade the old for the new model. This life is so cruel and I keep taking you back wasting my years believing that we were gonna be, meant to be. I guess its back to the drawing board. They always say don't look for love, love will find you. Do you believe that, I guess sometimes I wanna believe and sometimes I do but then you getting that negative vibe and you're like no it can't happen to me, it just cant. Well can it ? No it cant and if so why is it taking so long?

I am afraid that when love catches up I might not want it no more. There are millions of persons out there with technology at our fingertips but yet we still feel so alone at times. Why is this so? I think am I the only one feeling this way, my logics tell me no but yet I feel like the odd one at the party.

Something is telling me that we all feel that way, Am I wrong or is it just me??

Friend- is there such a thing?

I don't for a second believe that two women can truly be friends. In a competitive environment where everyone wants to be the flyest it is really hard to see how truly persons really would give up an opportunity to their friend instead of themselves, knowing fully well that this person might just up and forsake them.

Come on we all humans, I have my short coming to know that secretly when we see someone in a better situation we wish it was us..Maybe we can have some sort of acquaintance ...I don't know i just look at the concept of friendship and based on the idealism surrounding it I have not witnessed this personally...
